CoverGirl Disco Dazzle (405), Wet n Wild Everybody Loves Redmond (221C), Avon Pink Fantasie and L.A. Colors.

Zoya Arizona, Borghese Chroma and Models Own Beach Party.

I hope you enjoyed my ever growing nail polish collection. I'm sorry I can't remember a lot of the prices since some are a little older or were given to me by my mother. But if you want a general price range for some I can give that to you or at least try my best.

Hope you have a wonderful day!

A Splash of Colour

Summer is a great time to try out new and bright nail polishes!  I recently purchased this new Essie nail polish called Enuf is Enuf for $8 at Shoppers.  (I featured it in my Collective Haul video).  This nail polish is a great splash of pink for the summer, and being Essie it's very durable.  If you want to try a pop of colour without going completely over the top, I would recommend trying this nail polish!

Pros : This colour is amazing because it shows different colours based on what lighting you are in.  It also adds a great pop of colour for the summer months, but isn't too over the top so it can also be worn in the winter months.

Cons : You do have to put on several coats for it's true colour to be seen, but other than that there isn't anything to complain about.

To check out more of Essie's fabulous colours view their website here.  Do you love wearing bright nail polish?  If you do what's your favourite brand and colour?

Essie Nail Polish Collection

At the beginning of year my good friend from school (Breanne) introduced me to Essie nail polishes.  And ever since then I've become addicted to them!  I have to say they are the most amazing nail polishes I've ever used.  They retail for around $9 (Canadian) and they are worth every penny.  Where I work I use my hands a lot and am constantly opening and closing boxes, tasks which normal nail polishes won't stand a chance against.  However Essie nail polishes are able to hold their own and won't chip for over a week!  Their only down fall is in order to get the desired colour, three coats are required.

Colours (In order as pictured above.)
Ballet Slippers - This pink colour is perfect a delicate nail colour.
Waltz - The perfect white for french manicure.
Merino Cool - In the mood for purple?  Try this deep purple.
Trophy Wife - Feeling bold?  This is the colour for you!
*Want to see Essie's full range of colours? View their website here.

Even if you're on a budget, these are perfect nail polishes to invest in.  Their amazing colour and chip proof power makes them my go to polish.  What's your favourite nail polish, or favourite colour by Essie?  We'd love to hear about them and give them a try!

A Bit Of Glitter - Nail Tutorial

Hey Everyone!
Here is a quick nail tutorial that you can wear anywhere you'd like. I will list the polishes I used but why all means use any colour you'd like to create this look!

1. The polishes I used to create this look were; Joe Fresh Onyx, Sally Hansen 140 Rockstar Pink and Essie Good To Go Topcoat.
2. Start off with painting your nails your base colour. Depending on how good the polish is this may take one to two coats. Let each coat dry thoroughly before applying another.
3. Take some tape, I just use Scotch but any tape you may have will do and cut into small strips.
4. Place the strip in a desired angel that you would like to create. I just chose to do a diagonal going from left to right.
5. Once you have applied the tape to each one of your nails put your glitter polish on the exposed nail. Let set for a few moments.
6. Slowly peel off your tape so that no polish is pulled off as well as preventing any drips of glitter polish on your base. Apply your topcoat and voila! You're done and ready to take on the town.

Hope you enjoyed this tutorial and happy painting!

Manicure Minute

I am a huge fan of doing lots of creative things with your nails. But lets face it, doing a lot of those designs on your dominate hand are tricky so why not start small? I change my polish probably once a week and own over 25 nail polishes. I hate when my nails chip so when that happens I take all the polish off and either repaint them the same colour or change it up a bit. Lately I have been trying some cleaver designs and I gave this one a go today. A simple ombre-esque polka dot design really makes your nails pop!

The colours I used were:
Teal: Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in 480 The Real Teal ($3)
Silver: Borghese Rapide B040 Chroma ($11)
Top Coat: Essie Good To Go ($8)

If you'd like me to do a little tutorial on how to get this little simple but cute manicure let me know and I will post one as soon as possible!

Pamper yourself and have fun while doing it.
